2026 Class T: Junior Fruits, Roots and Vegetables

Rules: Wipe specimen with a cloth to remove as much soil as possible – do not wash. Specimens with tops must be trimmed to 1” (unless stated otherwise). Choose large onions, do not peel but remove roots. Pumpkins and squash must still have their stems. All entries must be fresh and grown by the exhibitor. Ensure entries are uniform in size and shape, fresh, have good colour and are true to variety. Place entries on appropriately sized plates. Attach tags to plate or stems. Must be fully grown. Entry tags to identify age, grade and name of school as of June 2026. Anything named must be written by the child.

Ages 3 and Under:
Prizes: ~ 1st – $5.00; 2nd – $4.00; 3rd – $3.00, 4th – $1.00
